I have to admit I have a chap stick addiction. Winter months you can always find two or three brands in my bag. I hate that cracked and dry feeling so Im constantly applying chap stick to keep my lips nice and soft. I personally like a chap stick thats in between the thick and thinner formulas. I was pretty happy when I tried this stuff on for the first time. This wasnt too greasy and thick but I didnt feel like it was so thin I had to reapply every few minutes either. This has been in my bag since I got it and I've grabbed this one over my favorite chap stick. For me to do that is very rare! I love the packaging on this. The little bee push up and its not hard to use. I hate those ones you have to twist up and then back down. The slide option makes its so much easier to use. The peppermint smell is nice too I love peppermint! I was worried I wouldn't be able to find this product in stores but I found it at walmart and walgreens! You can find other stores that carry this product on their website. I found it runs around 2.90 plus tax. I have seen this product before but never really thought to try it. Now that I have its on my list of favorites. I will be repurchasing this product. It runs about the same price as my other favorite chap sticks so its a no brainer! If you have dry lips give it a try :)

CleanWell Natural Hand Sanitizer Wipes

To be honest I really wasn't sure about this product and I wish we could have got a few more samples to really give it a good try. However with the one clean well wipe I did get to try I can say its nice. I'd love to see these sold in more stores because right now they're hard to get your hands on. That is the only complaint I have. You can find these at whole foods, amazon and diapers.com but I like avoid online shopping as much as possible. So for me I can't get my hands on these very easily unless I go online. The product itself is really nice. The smell isn't overwhelming and you can smell the citrus herb. It didn't burn my hands or my face when I tried it out. I was worried it would irritate my sensitive skin but not a single patch appeared. It was gentle enough to wipe away the oils from my face and didn't have that harsh smell most sanitizing wipes have. I didn't think it would make my hands soft but it actually works. The citrus scent lasted a few hours on my hands and the wipe itself is nice and soft too. Not rough or papery like others I've tried. I'd love to buy more of these for on the go. Having two boys its nice to have these little wipes to just grab and go. I just wish I could get them at my local Sam's club or other retail store.

SheaMoisture Baby Bar Soap

I've seen this product at my local target a few times. I've always by passed it because I didn't really know much about it. However thanks to influenster I was given the opportunity to try it out! This was in my naturals voxbox and let me tell you I was excited! My son and myself both have sensitive skin. Certain products will dry us out or cause little rashes. So I have to be very careful what I buy. After trying this on myself for a few days and seeing no problems I started testing it on my son. Neither one of us had a reaction to it! I love the smell for my boys. Its a very woody smell and I find that great on my them. For myself personally I like a more fruity scent. Im pretty happy with this product and plan to add it to my rotation. I suggest you cut the bars into manageable chunks because the bar is a bit awkward for small hands. Also I find you waste less when you us smaller pieces. The water isnt washing your product down the drain! I found that this soap leaves a brown color of soap residue on the tub so I had to place it in a soap dish but thats my only complaint. I love the Shea Moisture bar and want to try their other products. Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates are three of my top ingredients I like to avoid and Im happy to say this soap has non of them. They dont test on animals and can be found at walgreens and target for around 4.99 a bar. All in all I put this one in my top ten soap choices.

Ninja Turtles Costume!

Its almost that time of year again! Halloween is on its way and my husband and I couldn't wait to find the perfect costume for our son. A few months ago we heard that Michael Bay was going to make a "new" ninja turtles movie. Now for us 80's kids we were pretty excited. It reminded us of those movies and we had to go buy all three! We started watching them with our son and as soon as he saw them he was hooked! So naturally we wanted to find a Ninja Turtles Costume that didn't look cheap. Costume super center has a ton of options for ninja turtle costumes for all ages. So moms, dads or even brothers you can all be ninja turtles! 

My son is in 2T/3T clothes so I ordered the 3T/4T costume. Its fits perfectly with a little room to add a layer underneath. I would highly recommend you go by the waist and hip measurements when shopping for these costumes. They seem to run true to size so you have to remember to add a few inches for sweaters and pants! I find the costume runs a bit long but with shoes you cant even tell. Thats perfect for taller toddlers! Buying a size up is best. He loves this costume and didn't want to take it off. Its easy to put on as well. So if you have to do a quick potty stop you wont have to remove a ton of layers. Its all attached with velcro! Yes moms that means easy and fast. Even though everything is attached with velcro it stays on. Some costumes I've seen have cheap velcro that comes off if you move a certain way. I had my son jump and run all around the yard to see how it held up. Im happy to say it did amazing and I got some pretty good action pictures. 

The mask fits his head and stays on with the elastic back. He can see out of it without any issues and it doesn't slip around so he's not constantly adjusting it. Who wants to mess with a costume when there's candy to get right! The shell is very light and doesn't weigh him down or run at his neck. This costume is made out of polyester and is pretty easy to clean. You do have to hand wash in cold water and line dry but that only takes a few minutes. Shipping was fast and the return policy is very customer friendly. 

So all and all this costume is a hit in our house! My family goes all out for halloween. I think he has the winning costume in the bag this year. Do you guy's go all out for halloween and have you even started looking for a costume yet? I know I can't wait to see his face when he gets all that candy and gets to hang out with his cousins. I'd also love to hear what you think about Teenage Mutant Ninja Aliens. Are you going to watch it or are you disappointed in the change? As for us Im sure we will give it a go but Im not sure its going to top the oldies!

The Many Uses of Ivory

  Ivory soap has always been in my life. Growing up you could always count on a bar sitting by the sink or in the shower at my grandma's house. Now Im a mom myself and use it for my face and to wash my make up brushes with. I have sensitive skin but this product has never dried out my face or body. No itchy rashes on my toddler who deals with sensitive skin too. After straying away from this product to try others Im happy to say we will be going back to our ivory bar soap! There is a slight scent with this soap but nothing overpowering. Not only can you us ivory in the shower or on your make up brushes but you can also make your own laundry soap! I haven't tried this one myself yet but its on my must try list! There's so many uses for this simple bar of soap and Im excited to do some searching and experimenting! Hands down we will be keeping this soap in our home. Plus the 99.44 % pure is a great thing too! Did you know it floats its that light! Also the cost is amazing you can get 10 bars for around 5.00! Thats almost double the amount of my other soap  bundles.

Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies

         The quaker soft baked cookie is made from whole grain oats and contains only 6 grams of fat. Its a soft cookie but more on the harder or drier side. Its not super moist or chewy so if you don't like those super soft cookies this one is for you! The flavor is amazing. Not too much cinnamon like some I've tried and just enough raisins. My two year old loved it and this cookie satisfied my pregnancy craving. We will be looking into buying these cookies for work lunches. They come in a box of 6 for about 2.70. The great thing is its big enough to split with someone. So if you're a mom thats a bonus! I can't say I have any complaints about this cookie! Now I just need to find the best deal in my area and stock up. I love these for on the go or a snack. I really suggest you try this if you love oatmeal raisin cookies like we do! We buy them every time we go to the grocery store. Looks like we found a new brand!

Palmolive fresh sponge dish soap

I was lucky enough to be selected by Influenster to test out this amazing product. I was pretty skeptical at first. How in the world can a soap keep my sponge smelling clean? Plus I wasnt always a big fan of palmolive. In the past I found it left my dishes greasy. However I put my past experience aside and went for it. Im so happy to say I fell in love with this stuff! The ultra palmolive fresh sponge dish soap rocked my world. First of all the smell is so yummy. All I wanted to do was sniff the bottle and that alone made washing dishes more enjoyable. I was shocked at how fast it removed stuck on food from my pans. I'd usually have to let them sit overnight and soak. So the cleaning power of this product is wonderful! Now how long did my sponge last? Typically a sponge would last 3 days tops. With this product my sponge lasted 10 days. The sponge held the yummy fruity smell for several days before I noticed it started to stink. Final verdict I will be buying these products again! Check out my video to see this product in action!
